  • 1 cup toasted flour

  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 1/3 cup chopped cashews (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape in polvoron mold. Wrap each in colored paper. OR, the lazy way is to press mixture into a buttered Pyrex dish; and refrigerate. Cut and eat pieces of polvoron from Pyrex dish as desired.

one of my mom's friend was a Wonton Mee seller and she kept unsold wonton wrappers for my mom. She taught my mom how to dry the wrapper and the way to cook the wrappers. It's delicious with fried anchovies, vegetables and meatballs plus lots of fried garlic oil :-D
